Itinerary of the Beach Bike Tour
The bycicle tour will start at the monument of Christopher Columbus at the bottom of Las Ramblas. From there you will head towards and around Port Vell, the busy harbour filled with yachts and sail boats. As you cycle into the ancient barrio of Barceloneta, you will pass the impressive Palau del Mar and into the narrow winding streets of the old fishing village. From there, its a ride along the beach to Port Olympic, taking in the atmosphere of the promenade that runs along the sand.

As you continue past another port, you will head towards the tranquil Parc Diagonal Mar, and also enjoy the sight of the Forum building, before heading into one of Barcelona’s upcoming barrios, Poblenou. From there, you will head back towards Villa Olympica, and finally into the greenery of Parc de la Ciutadella.
The route of the Tour is almost entirely peaceful with not much traffic, bicycle lanes and pedestrian areas which makes it very safe for all ages.
You are accompanied by experienced guides who know the city and its history. During the Tour we will make many stops to listen, watch and enjoy every point where you can take your photographs and record your memories of the Tour!

Advice
Be sure to wear sunscreen as you may be riding in the sun exposed for up to 3 hours. Although a free drink is included in the tour, bring a bottle of water just in case. Wear appropriate clothing and footwear. Tours do still go ahead in the rain, however you will be provided with waterproofs.
